You send a clip around to people claiming its "prosperous Chili" - 30 seconds with Google revealed to me that the real band's name is "Crash Midnight" and the song is entitled 151.  In my opinion, outside of Prosperous Chili being a foolish name for a song.  This simply doesn't exist and you fabricated the entire story to get your 15 minutes of Internet fame.

People - don't freaking lie.  If you don't have a song / it doesn't exist, don't make up crap to fulfill your pathetic little alter egos, ok?  That only goes to the people that do this sort of thing, of course.

I understand why Doashk did what he did - it was greed.  He felt that by manipulating the situation he might get his hands on something special.  Turns out the only thing his hands are on now reside between his legs.  Oh well.  I just hope no one actually fell for this and I managed to save at least one person from being screwed over.  If I did, I did my job.

I was going for the effect of saying it by the spelling.  I'm sorry "  'D' ark "  I wonder if this is effecting that crapola trade situation in any way. 

Nope, no particular insight, sorry.  I personally hope nothing else leaks until at least Merck has his time in the sun whenever this "in due course" Press Release shows up.

Furthermore, I hope if anything *does* leak it stays within the confines of the GNR fanbase and doesn't find its way to every freaking seedy back alley of the Internet.

if a release date is set in stone i will not be bothered about any leaks. ?I won't download them. ?It's just this feeling that the album may never come out (or will take a while to appear) that is making me download these leaks. ?

Totally off-topic, but my nick is not capitalized for a reason.  Its not a major deal, just a pet peeve of mine.  Trust me, I don't lose sleep over it or anything.

On-topic,  I damn well hope any leaks that show up anywhere don't hit radio.  The next GNR song that hits radio needs to be the first single.  period.

I totally agree.  I thought it was a bad introduction for the general public to hear actual tracks that Axl and the band hadn't approved of.  Why do you want to send a less than mastered version of a song out in the mainstreem for people to be first introduced to this new band?  It seems pretty bloody awful in my opinion.

I think that, technically speaking, a radio station needs to be notified its infringing before action can be taken.  So, I suppose if, "This I Love" was played by WAAF tomorrow - technically nothing could be done about it until they received an order to stop.
