Title: Estranged pact between Axl and Slash? Post by: estrangedpaul on February 22, 2006, 01:18:09 PM Someone just told me that Axl and Slash made a pact that one of them cannot play Estranged without the other. Is that true? Anyone have a link to an interview it was mentioned in. Why this song - it was always considered Axl's baby rather than a collaborative effort although he did thank Slash in the record sleeve. I suppose Slash would never play that song without Axl anyway coz Axl is the only only one with a songwriting credit, but it just seems like an odd pact to make.
