Title: Spread the music underground through the clubs??
Post by: lookingforbigfoot on February 19, 2006, 09:30:01 PM
Hey all -

I went out clubbing on the weekend and after listening to TWAT and Better and IRS is the beat never lets up for more than a second when temp changes or something - even through the solo's or the calm introductions and other places where in past GNR songs the drums might let up or the rythm might give way to something more melodic - the rythm and drums and the beat just keeps pounding along...

This CD seems like it's going to be good to play in clubs alot more so than alot of older (and VR) stuff.

Anyone know any DJ's (or is a DJ)?  I think this would sound awesome with the bass pumped flowing through a club...

Has anyone slipped a new song or 2 to a DJ or think they might??

If Better was complete then it would be a good song for a club. IRS and TWAT? No thanks

Intresting that me and you were thinking the same thing though

Yeah, 'Better' would be awesome to play at a club. 'IRS', maybe. Definitely not 'TWaT'. It requires one on one listening to take it in...

I think Better for sure - TWAT close your ears to the lyrics for second when you listen to it...

Just imagine that drum beat at the beginning thumping through the club - if the bass was pumped to bring out the low end drums and the heavy riffing abd bass that's kinda faint in the background that is sitting back there - that song really moves along.
