I am starting to think we will not see anything else today.  No leaks, no news, no nothing.  I think we have seen the entire wave of "news" for the weekend.

My bet is that the entire version of Better will be leaked and that's it. We'll just have to wait and see (although I am quite tired now!)

Read a rumour on here somewhere (may have been posted by Darknemus) that the "leaker" has a 7-track CD with 4 songs and 3 instrumentals.

1 - IRS
2 - Better
3 - TWAT
4 - TWAT (Extended)

In theory, the instrumentals would probably be the same 3 songs (IRS, Better and TWAT).

If that's the case, we may have heard everything other than the full version of Better and the instrumentals. Which would be fine with me.

Although, deep down, it is my sincere hope that this wave is over.  I'm hearing rumblings that its just getting started.  That scares me, and I hope its not true in any way, shape, or form.

I have no clue where these rumors of The General started from because, to my knowledge, its not on either demo disc "in the wild" right now.  Unless the third disc I've heard mentions of actually exists.  In which case, then all bets are truly off.

Hmm,well I really like all o the leaked songs,but it's starting to really get out of hand,it's strange if you ask me,but I guess if anymore songs leak I'll have to have them as well :nervous:

I have no clue where anything would get leaked, if it would.  I'm personally hoping nothing does, at this moment.  As it is, there is freaking pandemonium within the GNR fanbase community over this.  In my opinion, another leak isn't going to be good - for any of us.  Its just going to make the situation worse.  Even though I'm the first to admit I'd listen to something else if it were to leak.

The thing is, once an album gets sent off to press how ever many copies are needed at the start (300,000+ for an album like this, probably a lot more), it's really hard to keep it under wraps, too many people have access. It may not be possible to stop it. I suppose if there was an official release date, it would keep a lot of hands out of the cookie jar.

However, since we are apparently hearing demos, who knows where they are coming from? Dark, when you say there are 2 cd's out and about right now, is one of them the Trunk cd or do you think they are both completely unrelated?

If GNR sell 500,000 plus stateside in the 1st week, that would be great! 

Is it me, or does it seem like the late afternoon lull, could be the calm before the storm?  I think the rest of Better is going to find it's way out.

I just hope that CD comes soon enough before I get mad - can't get these 3 songs from my head... melody from TWAT is playing in my mind again and again... oh my fucking god no more leaks or I'll explode. I want CD. NOW

its crazy that the 3 songs GNR has played live, haven't leaked...you would think those 3 would've been the first (5 if you count Rhiad and Silkworms)

After that do I want more leaks? - It's hard to say - I am still in awe over what just happened!  I listened to that shitty IRS version from a year ago up till last week!

i just want the full version of better. Keep the rest of the shit. For me IRS didnt hold me over long cause i listened to the shitty quality one like 100 times, but twat is excellent. At first i wasnt really digging it, but it really grew on me. I need the full vers. now haha. And CD too for that matter!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'd really like to hear the full version of Better. I can take or leave The General (I never thought I'd see the day when I'd say I could take or leave a new GN'R song, but I'd like there to be some surprises when CD comes out...)
