wow, with all this talk about it it really seems like it's going to happen.

At first I was excited, but now I'm getting worried. ?I want as much Gn'R material as possible - but I want it from the store. ?I really hope that the rest of Better is released, but I don't want anything else after that (unless the album doesn't come out for another year... I couldn't take that!). ?I really want the album to come out in 2006, I've had a taste of it, but that's all I want is a taste for now.

Let Axl have his moment in glory already.

That being said I'll download it the second I get a chance, sadly.

Maybe continued leaks will inspire him to actually release the finished product. At least with stuff leaking we getting something to listen to if he goes back in a bunker for another year or so for whatever reason he comes up with. God knows we have thought the release was imminent in the past only to have him fall apart. At least if it happens again we have some songs in hand. It's a good deal for fans. The only way it hurts Axl is if he chooses not to release the CD in a timely fashion, in which case who cares what happens to him.

as much as i want it, i do think that enough is enough and i dont want anything more leaked, maybe a full version of better, but yeah, no more.

i hope no more gets leaked... this was cool.... but any more would fuck things up for axl and us..... we've waited too long for the songs to be leaked in the form of a demo.

i'm starting to wonder if these songs are coming from the disc that axl has been reported to be playing in random strip clubs

In my opinion three leaks is enough for now. (well, until we get the rest of Better :yes:) Chinese-D better come out soon though! :drool: I also wanna make another comment. I wanna see if anyone else agrees with me. Now, down to the basics, it can be said that Old GN'R was at first, in musical style, based off Aerosmith. To me, this new version of the bands sounds to me like it's getting more inluence from Led Zeppelin.

I'm talkin' about the style of these tracks. Old GN'R were sorta known as a modern revival of Aerosmith. This Guns N' Roses seems to do the same thing but with a large Led Zeppelin influence. Remember...Zeppelin experimented just like this...This is just a theory of mine btw.

I don't hear Zep in it at all.

Truthfully all I hear is old Gn'R under a modern influence with a minor touch of synth pop / industrial mixed in.

It's got that Aerosmith/Zep feel that the old band had, but it just sounds modern.. not pop-rock-radio modern, but more of a retro modern way (meaning the new bands who try to have a retro rock sound.. Jet, Strokes, ect.)

There's obviously 'industrial' influences like NIN and modern influences like 'Radiohead' in these songs, but to me it sounds like the band is deriving out of a small Led Zeppelin formula of the late 70s. I hear a sound that procreates like a Zeppelin on speed with a bolt of Radiohead, NIN, and Aerosmith. I mean, Axl now sounds more like Robert Plant now than Steven Tyler. From 1987-1993 Rose had more of an ultra-raspy Tyler-esque voice while now I think his new smooth and higher pitched vocals sound more like Plant's. Axl even got dissed in the early 80s for sounding too much like Robert Plant. I know it's just a theory but in my case this is thrown at my face when listening to these tracks. Besides, I'm not talkin' about a huge influence here; just a bigger influence that in the past. An influence that surpasses 70s hard rock.

someone mentioned them. then in the chinese whisper community that is gn'r online it became apparent they were going to be leaked.

please change the title, or delete it. we're all zombies from sitting here for days foaming at the mouth for leaks. we dont want false alarms.

Totally agreed, even with these just being demos....we still are supercharged and ready for the "real" thing to hit the stores and for him to get out there and tour.   This just makes us want more..he can't loose in this situation.   As much as he thinks he may be, us listening to unmastered tracks...but he is wrong...not his fans, this will in no way hurt his sales on CD or anything having to do with the official release.   Although I will be really surprised if the whole albums leaks or even if more songs leak.  I can see 1 or 2 or 3 even but any more then that while great is strange.

If that rumor about Axl playing the CD at the strip club is true? ?That has to be the reason behind all these leaks. ?It's probably that DJ. ?It was probably reported that it was the official album, but it was nothing more than Demos. ?And now, were getting them all.
