Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I admit when was just IRS and an 80 second better, I thought it might be planned to get everyone talking, but now we got IRS, 2 TWAT, and 2 minute Better, and rumors of more on the way - do you guys really think Axl would give away THIS much?

If one more new track is leaked, i think it's safe to say the record is leaking.

Yeah if The General actually is out there then the shits really hit the fan.

If The General leaks, then everyone that downloaded these better call a lawyer.  They will prosecute everyone at that point.

That would be a lengty process-wouldnt it be cheaper to-i dont know-RELEASE THE RECORD? maybe then people will stop. i know i will the minute i hear the release date. until then.........

I do think its planned, To keep this stuff under wraps for so long and then suddenly we get this much??? Maybe ax pissed off someone in a higher power who he gave (at some point) a demo cd? who knows??

I don't think it was planned. I think Axl needs to release the album, fast.

I don't think it was planned, i just think it means the release is getting closer. Most major releases these days end up leaking as the release becomes nearer... it shouldn't be surprising that such a highly anticipated album would be leaking, even if we're hearing demos.

but what DOES surprise me is all the radio play. i guess chinese democracy is a one of a kind release, but i can't think of any other situation like this - does anyone know of a similar situation were an albums demos leaked and recieved such radio play?

You are assuming these are demos- Better and TWAT sound finished (and ive listened to both 50 times now at least!) this could very well be the album.

the cd has probably gone off for pressing. That would have to be a major way leaks happen. Maybe we are only getting demos because CD has 1 disk of demos and 1 of CD and the demo one was getting pressed first. Again Who knows??

I?m just thinking out loud here and imagining the scene: Slash, drunk as hell, put a KFC in the head, go to the studio where the guy is mixing the album, enter the studio and say "hey, Im blofkethead, let me hear what I recorded" ... the studio guy says "sure bucket" ... then Slash take the CD and start to run as fast as he can laughing "heeey, Im blofketheaaaaaad, Im blofketheaaaaaaaaaaaaaad and I do the chacko thing !! "

I'm not sure, but I sure as hell know it's no coincidence that Axl mentions a few of his favorites from the album, and 3 weeks later, out of all the material they have, those exact songs are leaked...

Demos yes...if the real deal leaks, no.? And for the love of god, I hope the real tracks don't leak.  People need the real deal in their hands.  Damn that's gonna be awesome!!!

i mean wasnt there a thing that said axl would put the whole album on myspace before it was released as a preview...


if he was gonna do anything official..he'd do that instead it seems
