Some rumours start rolling right now... it seems some people might have TWAT. I don't know if it's true. Take it with a grain of salt. I just post what i've just heard. It's just a RUMOUR.

I think it starts to be like a real threat against Axl if he doesn't deliver the album "soon"...

I'd rather hear a full version of better , then a full version of TWAT ... then probably an announcment on gnronline.com from AXL that reads "thanks to the lame ass blood suckers on this here big garbage can known as the internet leaking my music , there will be no new tour , no new videos and no new album this year or this decade"

Yes, Better, Twat and IRS full demos exist. I think a few people have them.

I'm pretty sure Darknemus has them, and it  would be nice if he'd give us an update. An explanation of why only a clip, and what they plan to do with the rest of the material.

I say relax people, these are only demos. They were supposedly obtained in '04 so they most likely have changes a lot since then....! Axl sound fucking Great!!!

Here is the full story.

A thread was started yesterday where Wes claimed to have 3 studio tracks (IRS, Better, and TWAT). ?Everyone on Mygnr except a few ripped the hell out of him (or her). ?A little while latter someone put a link up labeled, Guns N' Roses - There Was A Time. ?This was a hoax and the song was actually Robert Palmer - Simply Irresistible. ?I think that may be the source of the rumour for TWAT.

--I'm pretty sure that certain people do have all 3 though.

Over 4 hours elapsed before IRS was finally posted on mygnr. Other people definitly have the songs, its only a matter of time before they come out! If anyone reading this has them can i make a suggestion that you get in contact with the guy who has the VMA rehearsals DVD. Make a trade!

I just don't understand it. If people claim to love the band and Axl so much why on earth would you do something you know will piss them off? At Splat, we are/have been aware that an announcement is due in the next couple of weeks so we urge anyone who is thinking of leakng any more material to at least give GN'R a few weeks to respond in a positive manner before releasing any more material.

The material that has been released already has turned many heads and has tamed many lions. It has been a positive move for GN'R despite their disapproval, but maybe it is a good idea to quit while the iron is hot. In reality, only a minute of a new song has been released, as IRS was available already. Not much harm has been done so lets leave it this way.

Ok, this person needs to realize we have been told this for so many years. Even from the man himself. Still... no announcement. It does suck for the band so I understand why they don't want this shit to come out. But this is the best thing that has happened to the GnR fans & supporters since the tour which was a big slap in the face. What's so hard to understand here?

I do hope an announcement is made soon. Maybe they've told wes of an announcement so he is going to hold on to the tracks. If there is no announcement I do hope he shares them. I think it's only fair we give them a bit more time... but if there isn't anything announced then why should he continue to wait?

We would have had IRS about 6 or 7 months earlier than the original leak. Someone came on and posted the lyrics and got trashed by everyone because they wouldnt believe him. He got pissed off, told everyone to fuck off and was never seen online again! A few months later when the rough demo was released......... oh look exactly the same lyrics!

No offense to Lisa Reed, but considering the unmentionable ways in which fans have been jerked around all these years, any leak or bootleg is fair game.

I will buy the new album and a ticket to see guns when they come near me but to ask me not to hear music that personally gives me and alot of others hope is bullshit.

The demos have people talking, including my local radio station who haven't mentioned GnR since the VMAs. Any press is good press, but these demos are so good, they are winning over people who that were lost when the band broke up.

And if Better and IRS are from the Trunk CD, that means they have nothing to do with the release of the Chinese Democracy album.

It would be great if the album doesn't come out this year, and then in 2007 everyone that said "don't release TWAT - we don't want you to spoil it" in the past 24 hours will be kicking themselves.
