Title: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: Mr.Intensity on February 16, 2006, 01:36:01 PM I don't see why Merck and whoever get so upset about the spread of the new gnr demo material. It's a breath of fresh air from the long time rotting corpse that Gnr has become and it solidifies that Axl has something to offer. These demos at least let the general public know Axl seriously has a product and C.D really is around the corner. I have been posting the tracks on as many music bulletin boards that I can and they have recieved pretty good response, most people saying "wow, that is better than I expected."
As a Gnr fan I feel its my duty to promote my favorite band and I also feel compelled to send anyone who is a gnr fan the new material. Yes, I love Axl and I respect his wishes, I also respect the job Merck has to do, but I respect even more all the great fans gnr has that has waited for 10 years like me. It is to them I have first allegiance and that's why I will spread the music. Feel free to pm for links if anyone needs them. :peace: Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: Markus Asraelius on February 16, 2006, 02:25:51 PM You're correct... :) isn't this what Jarmo says we're not supposed to be doing? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: Markus Asraelius on February 16, 2006, 02:32:16 PM It will be the first day in HTGTH history that Jarmo has 150 new users and has to ban 150 new users.

Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: Markus Asraelius on February 16, 2006, 02:39:18 PM I'm not a new user. I change the link there is now no new lunk you idiot! I know dam well you're not a new user but you're acting like one. Now, clean up your attitude, young man. You and a flurry of new (and old) users are turning this 'song-leak' into an absolute mess. Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: //JK75 on February 16, 2006, 02:44:01 PM I don't think is a bad thing either. We the 24/7 GNR fans are the only who runs to download this material when it's on line, it feeds our GNR addiction !!!! and we'll be the first one in line to buy the album when it's on the stores no matter if we have downloaded all the album trought Lime Wire by that time. Even, the GNR junkies like me probably will spent more money to buy a re-edition of CD when they decide for commercial purpose to add a DVD to the CD they have released before without that extra thing.
C'mon anyone here who claimed he haven't at least try to download this demos is not being honest... all you can bash in public, but I'm sure no one here would resist to hear something like this that everyone is talking about. By the way, I have purchased 3 copies of UYI I, 2 copies of UYI II and 2 copies of AFD because I have heard those (vinils, cassettes and cds) too many times that they were damaged. Since I hear mp3's, I don't have to buy another copy, I have the original CDs and just hear my mp3 (riped from my own cds). Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: Thorned Rose on February 16, 2006, 02:45:51 PM Okay dude... there it's all cleaned up. NO links... no nothing. There was no "song" leaks last night... I don't even know what your talking about...
NO songs were leaked. Thank you. Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: Mr.Intensity on February 16, 2006, 02:53:13 PM Today is a great day in the gnr world. :)
Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: DoubleTalkingJive on February 16, 2006, 02:57:19 PM Well from the management stand point it is a bad thing...but from our standpoint it's a good thing. It's not like it's the whole song anyway.
Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: killingvector on February 16, 2006, 03:01:35 PM It will help management and the band in the long run.
This buzz should give Axl the confidence to push forward and finish off this biotch before she asks for more. Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: Sakib on February 16, 2006, 03:01:48 PM Well from the management stand point it is a bad thing...but from our standpoint it's a good thing.? ?It's not like it's the whole song anyway. well its the whole of I.R.S. to be honest i don't know why it's a bad thing but i dont want to get banned, i love this forum 2 much Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing..... Post by: Mr.Intensity on February 16, 2006, 03:03:28 PM I don't want to be banned either, but it is my duty as a gnr fan to make sure any true gnr fan gets to hear the music. If I had the cd in its entirety I would find a way to get it to each and every last one of you because I know all you fuckers are going to be buying it the second is released anyway.

It's just not good for them promotion wise....if every song got leaked...it's fair game to think that no one would purchase the Album when it finally did come out...plus the hype would be around the leaked songs and by the time the album was released, it would take the thunder away. I am guessing that is how management would look at it. Title: Re: I don't think spreading the music is a bad thing.....
