She refuses to go to sleep at night without either listening to them or watching a GNR video. My 8 year old tries to pretend she doesn't like them, but I catch her singing SCOM quite often.

He knows Mommy was at 4 GnR concerts front row and can't wait for his day....He has written fan mail to Axl and has posters all over his room. My 12 year old has the new Motorola Razor phone with Welcome to the Jungle as his Ring Tone....The opening guitar riff is the first thing you hear when we are in a store.....hilarious! Everytime he hears a slight rock riff, he starts screaming my name (he's moved to Dubai now whilst im stuk in england? :'( ) as he knows thats what i love. He's a little rocker now. He likes Mama Kin and Welcome To The Jungle.

But ya I know what you mean Horsey. My BF loves SUCH diverse things... he's got Pantera, but then he's got old timey classical stuff, Johnny Cash, and then Motley Crue... Gn'R, and then Ani DiFranco! He's 6 and a bit years older than me, so I look up to him most of the time, and he's got me into a lot of stuff that I hadn't really heard before. But I have a 2 1/2 month daughter in law, and i sing Patience for her to sleep, she's so cute!!! so I went there last weekend and brought some GnR just to see how he would respond to that and as soon as I put on WTTJ he started jumping and moving around....really weird, he seemed to respond to it in a sort of "cave man" kinda way....like he couldn't control himself.....and when Jungle was finished and the intro to ISE started the same started all over again....he jumped on almost the whole album....so I guess he'll be a rocker when he's growing up.... Im a guitar player myself so she says "that guy plays guitar, just like you dad" ! ;D
