Title: axls rasp Post by: art vandalay on February 07, 2006, 06:03:24 PM people talk about axl having a rasp in his voice. what exactly is a rasp is it the sound he makes when when he sings 'my hands are tied' in civil war?

Lots of smokers have them; a lot of the time it happens when the trachea is stressed and messed up. As for as I can tell, there isn't a real rasp on that line, but a little in that verse.
