Title: "YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE"
Post by: head-off elephant on February 06, 2006, 07:56:26 PM
With all this talk of the new album coming out, and will it be as good the old stuff etc

With the obsence of slash and duff in particular, guns n roses will never be as good as they used too.

In my opinion Axl started losing it on the illusion tour, by bringin backing singers, and adding extra band members to the original line up like dizzy read etc.. i dont think its what the real fans wanted to see.

Dont get me wrong i'd still go and see them in concert, (i even had tickets for the canceled tour) But i think Velvet Revolver are more GnR than GnR are now..

I saw them in feb and they covered "i used to love her" and "mr brownstone" and he even sounded like axl.

? May I ask what purpose this post serves? ?You've already made up your mind that "they'll never be as good as they used to." ?I don't understand such a close-minded perspective. ?Maybe, just maybe, you could wait until the product is released to judge? ?I think you'll be pleasantly surprised...and if not, you can rock on with your VR. ?Have fun. ?
