Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment are letting the cat out of the bag. They have announced the initial lineup for the 2006 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The fifth
annual three-day camping and music festival will be held on June 16-18, 2006, on the same beautiful 700-acre farm on New Bushy Branch Road in Manchester, Tenn., 60 miles south of Nashville.

A full list of confirmed acts follows, with more to be announced in the coming weeks to round out the festival?s 80-plus artists and numerous attractions. Since its inception in 2002,
Bonnaroo has evolved into an unrivaled, multi-faceted entertainment experience, swiftly earning its status as the country?s premier music
and arts event.

Bonnaroo?s fifth anniversary lineup represents an expansion on the event?s traditions. Focusing on diversity of programming and the highest live performance standards, the festival will once again feature sets from established artists, newcomers, and the icons who inspired them.

Bonnaroo is proud to host Radiohead?s only American festival appearance
of the summer, along with veteran rocker Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and a host of other artists from various corners of the industry,
including Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Death Cab for Cutie, moe., Damian Marley, Bright Eyes, My Morning Jacket, Matisyahu, and Bela Fleck & the Flecktones.

"We are proud of the fact that Bonnaroo is a major
event for so many artists and fans," says Superfly?s Richard Goodstone.

"This year?s lineup continues our mission to bring together groundbreaking artists from a range of eras and genres."

As always, organizers are also focused on providing Bonnaroo fans with the best possible festival experience. To that end, they have decided to reduce capacity by 10,000 people in 2006, capping off ticket sales at
80,000 ? the same size as the 2003 event. This number will make for a more
comfortable environment, reinforcing the promoters? commitment to making
Bonnaroo the most enjoyable festival of its kind.

In addition to its
adventurous music programming, Bonnaroo?s arts and entertainment options set it apart from traditional rock festivals. The festival?s non-music activities have included a 24-hour cinema, a comedy tent, an arcade, an
onsite beer festival, a Mardi Gras parade, an Internet caf?, a digital music lounge, wireless hot spots, a silent disco, masquerade ball, restaurants and much more. Bonnaroo continues to make a strong impact on the American music scene. The event recently received its fourth consecutive nomination for
Pollstar?s festival of the year award. According to the New York Times, "Bonnaroo has revolutionized the modern rock festival," and Rolling
Stone called it "one of the 50 moments to change the history of rock and roll."

The event has been a career springboard for such popular artists as Norah Jones, Jack Johnson, Los Lonely Boys, Robert Randolph, Ray LaMontagne, Matisyahu, and many others.

Once again, Bonnaroo is poised to become the benchmark event of the summer festival season.
