The interviewer asked Munky about Axl being at the party to which he replied "yeahhhhhh,thats all I'm gonna say" and then a few seconds later said:"Momma always told me if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all"

Who cares, hes a douche bag any way. He probably found out days after the party that his girlfriend was polishing Axls hog at his record release party.

What station was this?  This seems awfully odd.  There was no mention at all that Axl pissed someone off until this point.

And I though he said in the Rolling Stone article that he "had to squish himself through to go say hello", which gave me the impression that he was happy that he was there. Could you give some sort of a source, a bit more exact than "a new Munky interview"??

Yeah I'd be keen to hear more cos if it's true then that's really poor form.

i would imagine it having to do with Axl just popping up out of nowhere and appearing at the party and stealing the show.

Back on topic, I think he was just joking because he said something like "It was cool.." after he talked about Axl. I think he meant the Axl thing but he maybe said that to the party overall or something like that.

That's indeed a possibility. Whose to say Axl didn't have one to many to drink and got out of line or said something perhaps to Munky that he shouldn't have. Maybe it's a long shot, but a few of those pictures he does look smashed as fuck!

Im just thinking Munky is jealous as fuck a mere Axl appearance was the talk of his band's huge party and the media is out there disecting Axl's fashion sense, or lack there of instead of discussing another glorious Korn tour ::)

Same thing would have happened at any party probably, those new rock bands aren't used to the press making a field day out of them, so they completely get defensive or offended when a verteran rockstar captures everyones attention.

If it were your party Axl crashed, Im sure you would have been peeved if everyone just flooded to him, but you'd have a drink with him and get over it.

The fact that none of the guys in Korn have ever mentioned liking Guns N' Roses probably had something to do with that comment...
Plus, I remember at Woodstock 99 when Korn were doing an interview, Sheryl Crow was doing Sweet Child O Mine in the background, and they started making fun of the song...

Nothing new here... 15 years after Korn's last album of original material munkey will be pumping gas at your local Exxon... NOT upstaging a major band's pre-release party just by "being there"... he knows it... and he doesn't like it... So what.
