Title: How do I use yousendit?
Post by: jameslofton29 on January 21, 2006, 10:28:46 AM
I've been trying to upload my 3rd gig CD (Osaka 1988)  for the people here that dont have it, but I keep fucking it up. I ripped it to my computer, and put it in a file, and when I go to yousend it to upload it, after its finished it says the file only has a few bytes. Obviosly, I'm doing something wrong. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Give more details: What did u rip it to and what 'file' did u put it in?
P.S: It's better that u use another file sharing service like Megaupload or zUpload. They don't have a 7-day expiry date.

I put it on a playlist on my windows media player, and when i uploaded, i clicked on my music and picked the 3rd gig playlist.

It seems to me u're uploading the playlist. When yousendit asks u for the file, browse manually on ur hard drive for the files. That should do it.

Thanks for the advice, Genesis. But going through my harddrive sounds like a big hassle. I actually figured out another way to do it, but I can only upload one song at a time this way. I move the playlist to my shared music folder, and it works doing that. Although it would take many hours I'm sure uploading the 3rd Gig cd one song at a time. I'm not gonna do it unless someone here actually wants this show. If you do, PM me and later in the week I'll spend an evening uploading the concert for you.
