Damn... guys those pictures.. took me by surprise... Im shocked...  I wouldnt have expected seen Axl Rose hunging out with Korn. Specially when Korn is no longer an important band or at least a mainstream band...  I liked to have seen Axl again, but it would have been cooler to have seen him with important guys like he is...

He doesn't look terrible... I just wish he'd come up with his own distinctive look... I was in to his look in '01 when he had the straight very red hair, clean-shaven, and the chinese themed clothing, track pants etc (i.e. Vegas '01 and Rio). All he had to do was drop 10 lbs. and he was set to go... not sure what happened since '01 (no eyebrows, corn rows, huge sports jerseys etc.)... I guess he's a HUGE sports fan now and into rap.

Anyway... sometimes pictures can be very deceiving... if he ever tours again (and dons the bandana, etc.) we'll get some shots that will at least somewhat remind us of the early 90's...

He told us "I was pretty excited about it...(I) shot him with Munky from Korn and the guys from Good Charlotte. I shoot these hollywood types every night, but that's the closest I've been to star struck!" The photos themselves can be seen on WireImage.com.

A few points, which I think would be FUCKING OBVIOUS to any sane person:

- there is nothing "gangsta" about a hockey jersey
- if I'm at a party posing for some pictures and Good Charlotte asks for a picture, I say yes. What purpose would it serve to be an ass about it, even if the band happens to suck?
- most normal musicians dress differently for a party than they would for a rock concert
- I don't know how people can say he looks old, considering his age. Newsflash: people age.

By the way, about the Leafs jersey: I am almost certain that Axl wore this same jersey (#26 with no name on the back) at the GNR concert in Toronto in December, 2002. At that time a guy named Paul Healey wore # 26 and I remember noticing that. Healey is no longer a Leaf, but I would have to think this is the same jersey.

Let's face it: The man doesn't look as good as he could look, sans the braids, beard, and baggy clothing. Should he dress like it's still 1989? No. He should dress and look exactly the way he wants, which I suppose is what he's doing, although something tells me he's still insecure and the jersey is masking that. It's like fat people that are ubiquitously clothed in sweatshirts as to not give their body any definite shape. So, I really don't buy it when people are like, "OMG he looks sooooo aewsome!!!!!!11" But he doesn't look terrible, either. In fact, he looks far superior than he did at the MTV VMAs.

im from wales UK and after the 2002 tour i started collecting and wearing NFL jerseys.i now have about 26 jerseys which have all together cost about 1300 british pounds.but one day a mate came to my house and brought a hocky top which his bro had brought him back from canada.it was to big for my mate so he sold it to me and its the only hocky top i got at the moment.the reason i tell you this is coz its the same one axl has in these pics,toronto maple leafs.so i was chuffed as fook to see axl in that top.as for axls look,i think he looks really well.those of you who think he should be wearin old gnr tshirts n jeans and stuff,theres a thread here for you,i think its called the VELVET REVOLVER thread :hihi:.

I'm liking the hair and the beard. More natural looking, somehow.

I'm digging the goatee/beard. I'm pro-facial hair; I've never really liked clean-shaven guys. Once he gets his butt out on the road again, I can guarantee he'll start looking healthier. Other than that, his style is his style and he's been a fan of rap from the get-go, so I highly doubt he keeps up with the trends. He just likes to experiment... that's all.

He looks awesome. He's put a little bit of weight on his face, which makes him look healthier. In '02, his face was way too small/skinny. The facial hair is old school Axl, which is great, and I love the braids pulled back...

The only thing to be excited about is that it appears Axl has become more visible in the past month. It may not mean anything, but it could be a good sign that things are ready to rock in the GNR world, and that he's feeling more confident and ready to re-emerge musically.

Amazing, 18 pages already;) But it is really great to see new pictures of Mr. Rose. However I do agree that his wardrobe could need some enhancement. Remembering that Mr. Rose`s 80s style has recently been used by some newer designers and Versace as well. one should really think that designers might be eager to dress an icon. Nontheless we should respect his style. Personally, I have seen GnR live in 2002 and Axl`s Football / Rap Style did not change any of his rock and roll attitude and behaviour on the stage.

Personally I am not surprised to see Axl appear on the Korn release party, I always thought that he may like their innovative music. It was really great though, to hear some info on what he talked about.

Since I dont know too much about plastic surgeries I couldnt tell you that DamaMaximus... but I think he used bottox back in 2002. Axl Rose as Nesquick said, is just older, but I noticed that hes got an angry attitude. No plastic surgery, he's just older.

That old photo helps put the new ones in perspective.  Really, Axl pretty much looks the same as he always has, except a little older.  The real problem is that he has a horrible fashion sense.  The braids and football jerseys just make him seem like an old dude trying to be hip.  Also, that's a really ugly goatee.  I know Axl has always had weird fashion sense (ultratight biker shorts and feather boas), but that kind of shit looked cool back in the day.  You can still look cool if you're a rock star over 40, but this isn't the way to do it.  The whole effect reminds me of those baggy Hawaiian shirts that Vince Neil started to wear after he put on weight.  In fact, the combination of the goatee and baggy clothing makes Axl look a hell of a lot like Vince circa the 1990s, and that ain't a good thing.

You know, having all this hoopla over new pictures of Axl really says something about how different Guns N' Roses fans are from most other music fans.  All we have are a few pictures of Axl chilling at a party, and that's our biggest news of the year.  It's like a Bigfoot sighting or something.

I think you guys overanalyze and take what Axl wears way too seriously. For all we know, those could have been his "around the house" clothes and he just decided to stop by the party at the last minute.
