2006 prediction is nothing will happen again.... i dont think the album will be out in march either like slash heard.... a month and half away and no single???  they need a big single to pump up the sales... they have ALOT of money to recoup off this album...

Axl probably wants the album to come out in 2006 because it's exactly 20 years since AFD was released.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if that's what Axl's plan is.

I'm hopeful that the album will come out, and a tour will follow. I don't think the tour will happen in '06 but as long as the album comes out, I'll be happy.

Uhh.... Appetite was released 19 years ago and it didn't even break until '88.  That's 18 years since they became bona-fide rock icons.  I don't know what you mean.

I can't give one answer because so many things can happen.. I say in 06 axl with either released cd(tour n vids would follow), a band member will quit, or the record company will sue axl and force the album out..

Europe then US if were lucky...with a kick off show in Philly.  I'm feeling Democracy in the SUMMER of 06'

an interview with Axl. either radio, tv or print. but an interview with him, one of those 30 min specials, to get everyone up to speed. more public appearances, if we're lucky a gig somewhere, but probably not.

then in the second half of the year, a new single gets announced and released.

Those are definite possibilities, but if none of the above occurs, someone in the GNR camp might leak parts of the album, maybe even the entire album.

I predict nothing will come of 2006 just like 2003,2004 and 2005.

1.The imposter that is dressing up as axl rose & attending korn parties will be exposed as none other than conan o' brien.

2.The real axl rose will release 4 albums worth of material in the same week (all nursery rhymes).

3.Then all of a sudden cd is unleashed on an unsuspecting public & all the shit talk & totally outrageous posts are all forgotten about.

you should all listen to me as I have been right in my predictions about axl 100% of the time since the beginning of 2003.  I see.... absolutely nothing happening this year.  The rest of the band will continue to get paid so they will stick around.  Robin will do a side project this year.  Tommy, Brain, and Richard will continue doing their side projects and whatnot.  Axl will continue sitting on his couch eating potato chips and cheering for Allen Iverson and his Lakers. 

Nothing.

Ahem, I just got a prophecy that the cynical wet blankets will prove wrong this year.

I'll say a announcement in February or March, followed by the album dropping in June.

If the album gets a release date, expect a delay....

my prediction: slash reads axls comments and decides to try and make peace, they recruit adler and izzy, duff signs up. Old gunners minus axl record 5 songs without vocals and send axl the cd with a note saying they want him to write and lay down some vocals, Axl leaves the cd on the shelf for a few months then his curiosity gets the better of him and he listens. Then BAM!!! its 1987 all over again.

And after Chinese democracy is revealed, no one will even think of the exs or reunion. Cos it will shatter the earth. :smoking:

Record out in April.  Maybe April fools day.  The record will get good reviews.  Atleast from Rolling Stone.  Great sales, better than "Greatest Hits".  Same touring overseas as before.  A date in Canada.  Only touring huge cities in the states.  New York, Los Angelas, Chicago, etc.   To open up for GNR:  possibly Avenged Sevenfold, Weezer, or AFI.  Maybe Izzy to open up a few dates.  Oh, one last prediction...Paris Hilton/Axl tape.  Cheers!  :beer:
