And I saw a poster who wrote something interesting down below: We were in the recording studio next to him in 1996. They had been renting the studio for over a year (at $3,000 a day) and had not even pressed "RECORD". Axl would drive himself to the studio every night in a pickup truck with a camper shell. If he has all these cars, he never drove them to the studio. Nice guy though, in person very low key. This guy has no need to bullshit, he's obviously not a die-hard like us, but I figured this was interesting enough to post here (Fark.com is a news site where posters bullshit about the stories.) He toured with Snakepit in -95 but I think he (unsuccessfully) tried to work with Axl&co in-96 and ended up leaving the band after that. |
