well, someone on sp1at.com fused these two pics together to maybe see a resemblance as someone (Simon) stated that it's Axl and that it's from a magazine (but he wouldn't say which one) and it's slated to hit newstands in the next few weeks.

it has the same eyebrows... but the smile? it doesnt look TOO much like him around the mouth.. but how often DOES he smile on pics? and when he did we were blindened by the whitness in his theeth... he should be in a dental commercial!

the nose looks similar as well.

but yeah, Axl rarely smiles in pics.

but then again, Simon says "boy we were drunk that night" so maybe if that is Axl, he smiles when he's three sheets to the wind ;D

anyway, yeah, it is the same kinda nose and jaw.. man, he looks so common... looking at the pics from early 90 late 80 he looks so bad ass... oh well, we all grow up and get shiny white teeth in the end i guess....

i think Axl had porcelin veneers.? That is why his teeth are so white and shiny.

i just think the nose is similar.? look at the pic on the left how Axl has a bulb at the end of his nose.? So does the person in that other picture.

Same height, build, facial structure, even the eyebrows look the same

I think it's a photoshop job cause, the eyebrows eyes and nose do not "LOOK LIKE"......THEY ARE AN EXACT MATCH, however when we look at the rest of the face and the mouth it completely different.

+ the poster who gave us the pic is a ONE TIME POSTER.

The photograph looks real enough to me. So called faked images look fake a mile off. Maybe the 2 people look similar beause they are of the same person  ;D he does look alittle like Jason Donovan though  ;D

One thing is for sure. The new Axl don't look much like the old Axl. or should i say, the young Axl. The Axl during the interview at the basketball game, he look very weird. The Axl with the braids looked wrong. When was the last time Axl was seen? 2001? it's now 2006! thats along time.

The photos are too blurred to tell if there is any editing, but everything in the pictures from eyes, eye brows, nose, chin, cheeks; they are all completely identical.

There are two choice in this:

1) - The man in the photograph is Axl Rose
2) - The second photograph is a clever photoshop merge of the facial features from the one outside the recording studio and some random photograph

Whichever it is, the people posting that it doesn't look like Axl are wrong. One way or the other it is him.

I'm inclined to go with the Photoshop scenario because of the mouth. That Mr Sheen smile can't be Axl's.

well... no offense but I think you are wrong. Like someone said, this photo totally lacks the typical 'attitude' you see in a photo of Axl. This guy looks like a clown. Sure there are striking facial similarities... i can't deny that. but just look at it man. If you think he looks 'rock & roll' then please, find another band. This guy looks more like Mr. Rogers than Axl for the body language, smile, outfit, hat, etc. alone. If it is him... I guess everyone is entitled to a bad day.

Ya, that is so not Axl. Wooody is right, someone who is a dab hand at Photoshop took Axl's nose, eyebrows, chin, ears, and the slight shadow on his forehead and put them on this guy. They didn't do anything else to the picture so to make it look as real as possible.

And besidez, Axl is KNOWN for wearing insane clothes, onstage AND offstage... unless of course he doesn't want people approaching him when he's trying to do his shopping or other stuff that involves walking down the street.

AND... seriously, that guy has no attitude, he'z just standing there with a kinda odd goofy smile and no real presence. If that was Axl, the picture would in no way be so bland!! You wouldn't want to look at anything else in the picture if it was Axl.

I also found an ameture pic of Axl from around 2002 where he is wearing a lether hat, black jacket, white shirt n his sunnies are hanging on his colla. In this he is smiling right at the camera so I dont see how This bloke in this new photo cant be Axl because. Tell me how to upload n I will unless u know what pic im talkin bout.

It's not Jason Donovan, I met him last Friday, he's in a stage play with my friend.

I put this picture into my photoshop program and its either AXL or a photshopped picture from when AXL took the pic in front of that car.

The eyes, nose, and ears are all in the exact same position in both pictures. He could just be standing exactly the same but its fishy to me.

All I can say is if its him, Im really glad he's happy judging by the smile : ok:

The only thing that's fishy too is me is the teeth, but that's only coming from a Photoshop amateur.

Perhaps Axl has gotten vinears :peace:

The whole face is identical to the other picture - the eyebrow shape, the eyes, the nose, the jaw. In fact, everything above the mouth is so identical, that it's hard to believe it wasn't paintshopped

That pic is clearly fake, as Jarmo said compare it to the newest pics of Axl from last night. He has a beard in them photos, and despite that, that other pic really doesn't look much like Axl anyways.
