This one is for amps. (Tube amps only as others suck). I've listed amps price-wise into three categories. (Since I believe price is the most limiting factor). These include combos and heads. Here goes.... 1. Under $500: Combos: Epiphone Valve Junior Laney LC15R Fender Blues Junior Crate V8 Palamino Peavey ValveKing 112 Burman Pro 502 2. $500 - $1500: Combos: Traynor YCV50 Blue Randall RG50TC Fender Hot Rod Deville Vox AC30 Custom Peavey Classic Delta series Marshall DSL 401 Marshall TSL602 JCM2000 Heads: Marshall TSL100 JCM2000 Marshall DSL100 Marshall MB350 Mode Four Peavey Penta Head Vox AC30 Custom 3. Above $1500: Combos: Marshall 1974X Handwired Marshall TSL122 JCM2000 Mesa Boogie Mark IV Fender 64 Vibroverb BlackFace Heads: Marshall 1959 Handwired Plexi Marshall JCM800 Marshall Slash Signature Peavey XXL Head Peavey EVH 5150 II Bogner Shiva Bogner Uberschall. This list is by no means comprehensive. Vote off amps in each category (Hopefully not just because u don't like them) and optionally list any amps u feel should be in the list. Boogie Mark IV as the best combo, AC30 close 2nd. Epi valve junior as best value for money. I'm not sure why the JCM800 is in the above $1500 since I see 2203's from the 80's on Ebay for under $1000 all the time. In the above $1500 I vote for the Bogner Shiva, amazing clean channel and an awesome hot-rodded Marshall dirty channel. I've owned Shiva's and a 2555 and the Shiva is def better sounding and more versatile.
