Title: Former GNR members helping in the composition of "Libertad"
Post by: Carlos_f_Rose on January 05, 2006, 04:28:54 PM
Hi everyone how are you doing?

I know only Scott and the other VR members have control over writing the songs for the new VR album, but I wonder how the new songs would sound with a little help from guys like Izzy, Steven, or even Gilby Clarke, who in the past helped to old GNR, for me it would be interesting listening songs compossed by Adler, remember he participated in the creation of Appetite so, something interesting might come out...

Haven fun and take care... Carlos @;--,.--.,-,-.

Scott has said in the past that he didn't want to use the Izzy songs for "Contraband," so that's out. I don't see why they would use Gilby's songs as he never wrote in GN'R. As for Adler? He's too busy playing parking lots with the guys from Danger Danger and Trixter to write for VR.

I don't think the album should have anything to do with anymore Ex-Gn'R members than are already in the band..
