Title: Donnington 1988: Crowd Shot Footage
Post by: Evolution on January 03, 2006, 08:04:48 AM
On my travels on the net i came across this video, possibly a Dead Horse topic, but if it is i'm sure it'll be moved accordingly.

I wasn't sure whether to post this due to the sad events during GNR's set, but i guess it's your own decision to watch or not.

Cool video!
I love watching the old band.

Then I clicked on "Mr Brownstone", which turned out to be from '02. And I swear, everytime I see the new band I think less and less of them.

I used to be a huge supporter of new Guns, but its getting harder and harder to understand what the point of that band is. Just watch an old video, then a new one back to back. Its not Guns N' Roses.

*sigh* Here we go riding off on the dead horse ,

The "point" of the "new" band is the same point of having matt sorum and gilby clark and the horn section and teddy big bag zig zag nig nag crab bag paddy whack give the dog a bine andreais in the fucking band .. members leave , the band would like to continue on so replacements are brought in.

Axl Rose felt like he wanted to continue making music so he hired a whole new band when the old one left and fell apart around him , he felt he had legal ownership of the name so he decided to continue using it. (smar move from a buisness standpoint anyways)

No it's not the original "Guns N Roses" but it is Axl's "Guns N Roses" .. simple as that. Accept it or move on.

wasnt it good in the old days when gigs were played at daytime and the whole thing wasnt such a mystery.ye know, when at the end of the shows the lights didnt turn off into pitch blackness while the band dissapeared until the next show, like 2002.

The new Wembley's first gig is Jon Bon Jovi

Its quite funny because I went past it on new years eve and no way will it be ready for March 31st lol  damn you megaplex.

But yes, it would be amazing to see the Guns at the new Wembley, I also wanna see the RHCP at the new Wembley with their new album tour because I missed their GH tour in '04
