Here Today... Gone To Hell!

yeah, i know this is a crappy thread, but it interested me to see how many people have been inspired by guns n' roses.

my inspirations are axl and duff. i started playing bass in a band my friend set up, then i started singing, then i was doing both and now im singing and doing some bass. we're doing 4 or 5 gn'r songs at the moment.  (part of the reason i bought my bass was because iheard the bass line to "sweet child o' mine" and wanted to learn it, its a fukin awesome bass line)

At first it wasnt a gunner that inspired me to play guitar. Later I switched to bass with the goal to sound and play like Duff. He just made bass look so cool and melodic as opposed to just running aroud a scale while the rest of th band plays. Then when i dropped bssand came back to guita it was slash. There is no nee to explain there.

easily slash, he made me want to buy a guitar.. His image to his amazing solos.. there's times I hear the gnr classics and could care less if anyone was even singing

GN'R inspired me as a whole to pick up an instrument. Luckily, i managed to get my hands on a cheap guitar so Izzy n Slash got me there. And Axl made me wanna sing to. atm, i can sing kind of and guitar. to be honest, i wouldnt mind playing any instrument really

I use to have this plastic guitar and my friends and I were drunk we would break out the dr suess top hat and I would go udnerwater with the guitar and my friends would lift me up as I was rising to the top :hihi:

slash inspired me to learn Guitar in 1991/2 i went out brought one tryed for a maximum of two days and gave up because i was shite and couldnt be bothered if id carried on maybe id be in my mates band  :rofl:

Although, my main influence was Melissa Auf de Maur

Mainly izzy when im on rhythm, If im playing lead im influenced mainly by dave mustaine, I dont really play that many gunners songs anyway, maybe eight or nine. Dont cry and My michelle are my faves.
