But this was a problem as for some reason the person that hosted the pic was being charged for it. I really don't understand how this works. So, I used another pic.

So if you link to a picture, the person who has put it online might be charged for the extra bandwidth that your linking uses. The person might have something like 10 Gb/month in his plan, but if lots of people link to the pics, maybe the account uses 15 Gb/month and somebody is charged for the extra five Gb. That or the account gets suspended for reaching its monthly data transfer limit.
