I have been checking out this site for years though. I saw this picture today and thought of this site. I wasn't sure if it has been posted on here before but just think what might have been... and still could if they could just get together and settle things!

new gnr is the past too.. The afd gnr is the only true gnr anyways, the one known for anything.. The afd gnr id the reason any gnr site even exists

it's right to celebrate the "original lineup", I love all the story of GnR.

I'm only saying that is useless and unhealthy to continue to say things as "i'd love to see that crew onstage at least one more time" and "if they could just get together and settle things!"

however, is pretty obvious that you are not forced to support "new" GnR, indeed i didn't say that.

And the new band and Chinese democracy is the reason the sites have many everyday posters n visitors.
a few posts don't seem to have any reason for existence here tho.
 
On topic, I think it's the business of the band to decide how they should be. welcome to the board.

roger waters has never done anything with queen.  paul rodgers has.  roger waters is pink floyd, smart one.

i think it's just as normal to want the new gnr to succeed(release cd) and do something eventually as an older fan to want something of the original band to get back together in one form or another at least one more time... As long as they are all alive there is hope for soemthing one day, maybe the rock n roll hall of fame

wow that pic looks so real! I think I'm one of the few people that think Axl looks cool in the braids.

I wanted to believe there was going to be a reunion, now I know it doesnt have too many chances....

anyway, Id love to see them on stage at least once again, but Axl's ego and pride is too fucking big that, that isnt going to happen unless he changes, the other 4 could gather at any time...

I'd do anything to see GnR live. Unfortunately the last time they were here was in like '92 and I was 8 and didn't know who they were. If by chance they were to do a one off show somewhere I would fly anywhere to see it.

Well you might get to see axl and his guys one day but unless gnr gets back together you probably never will..

I gotta say... looking at Izzy Stradlin' in that picture all but confirms that he is the only one in that band who truly had his sh1t together and priorities straight. He looks good... the rest of the guys look like corpses (from self-medication... or in Axl's case... self-flagellation).... and the fact remains... not a single album of new original material from Guns N' Roses since Izzy exited the bullshit FOURTEEN YEARS AGO.

On another note, personally- people hoping for an AFD line-up reunion should be treated no differently than those waiting for new GN'R to drop CD. Both are extremely unlikely events- either one of which would be fvcking awesome.

I agree with you when you say Izzy took care about himself all of these years, thats right, but Slash and Duff look pretty healthy, on the other hand, well I think its less probable to have a reunion than Chinese Democracy and that makes it even more special for me.
