In accordance with intent behind this thread, I also apologize for my insults; namely and most recently SLC and Izzy.  Although I disagree with many of your views I know that you believe that what you're advocating and arguing for are in the best interests of society and not for personal gain.  Hopefully this cooling off period will allow myself and others the ability to discuss intelligent subjects and current events without resorting to namecalling and personal attacks.

I appreciate that SLC and I really mean it.   I've never thought of you as a bad person and although we've had our heated disagreements I truly do consider you one of the good guys.  Rather than spit off repeated rhetoric, you've always been informed and educated on the issues we've discussed; moreso than I on multiple occasions.  I hope you and your family (ecspecially your kids) have a happy holidays and may good fortune and health be with you.

I think we all have to start seperating political posts with everything else.

For instance, If i disagree with someone, It doesnt mean I hate them or dont respect or like them, it just means I dont agree with something.

We all need to stop takin shit personally and realize people have different views, but that doesnt mean u still cant be friends no the board and friendly on other parts of the board.

I can hate Booker Floyd or someone on a political topic but be his best friend on a VR topic.

U just cant let it carry over, once the thread is closed, whatever ill will u have should dissolve with it.

I hadn't visted the forum much since Jarmo locked the political threads :hihi:? I know there are interesting discussions to be had over Axl's dreadlocks, botox, etc.? However, I just don't find those threads drawing me to this board anymore. 

I certainly don't want to get a thread locked by making references to politics, but it is difficult not to.  It is TORTURE to keep us from talking politics on this board.? It is driving me HUSSEIN.? I know if IRAN this board I would have probably done the same thing Jarmo did, ie use the NUCLEAR OPTION.? ?In the end I think it was a WMD, (well-made decision).? The MOORE we discussed politics the worse it got.? It was time to MOVE-ON; no one was out FOXing the otherside.? I don't think any side ever really achieved a W.? I think a temporary ban on the discussion of any politics was the RIGHT thing to do.? Hopefully, by the time these topics are discussed again some of troublemakers will have LEFT for good.? and i apologize to you and everyone else I offended or disrespected with my downgrading comments or backdoor insults (or when I just act like an ass).

i like to argue. some of my best friends are liberal and like to argue as well. i?ll have heated debates with them, but we can drop it on a dime. and that?s the approach i take in here as well. i don?t take anything personal, and i don?t hold people?s opinions against them. 

obviously, i enjoy the political threads - and the number one reason is the strong opinions that differ from mine. if it wasn?t for those, i wouldn?t visit and post in them. so as much as i disagree or criticize other?s views, i really do have a strong appreciation for them. life would be so boring if we all thought the same.
