Have you seen the older one starring George C. Scott?? I always liked that one, I wonder how it compares to the Patrick Stewart version. But my favorite Christmas movie by far is A Christmas Story. Michael Caine plays scrooge ( very great actor btw. )

Merry X-mas! The work IS public domain, so posting the link doesn't violate any copyright laws...just in case the link makes anyone "nervous". It's my favorite story, too. My favorite "movie" version is the Alistair Sims version. A gifted comedic actor (though this version is anything but comedy) who does an amazing job with the role. I'm also partial to the Mr. Magoo version. :) |
