Duff Mckagans solo project was it released or wasn?t it??  :-\

The original recording under the name Beautiful disease was never released. Duff re-recorded the songs with his band Loaded and released them under the name Dark Days.

What happened with the "Episode 99: Live" record?

It was released trough his internet site with only 20,000 copies if I remember well.
Izzy made some photos on the show and they put them inside the booklet.
Ridin' Home is my fav song from the album - btw it was written by Duff and Izzy.
IMO Raw Power is much better than GNR did.

O shit, I have all the gunners solo albums but not Beautiful Disease and Episode 99 Live. I have never had the opportunity to buy them. And when Episode was released I didn't know how to buy stuff from the US. After I got my Visa card, everything has changed.  ;D

Beautiful Disease is a great cd. I can burn you a copy if want, pm me. It is ridiculous what a cdr of that album goes for on Ebay, I bought the real promo on Ebay a few years back for around 60.00 but since VR has gotten big the price has skyrocketed.

Anyone have a copy of Episode 99 to trade for BD ? That is the only Duff album i do not have.

I already have BD on mp3, but I don't have the songs Mezz and Missing You.

Anyone have a quality photo cd size of the BD album they could link, it would be greatly appreciated . Thanks :beer:

I saw it once onsale at a local Music store called "Newbury Comics".  I think it was in the Gn'R section I am not sure. I think it was an import and they were charging liek 35 bucks so I didn't get it...

I downloaded the whole thing it's easy to find on the net, very good compared to his first solo album but the tracks Then And Now, Seattle Head & Superman are all re-done on Loaded's Dark Days and those versions are superior...not suprising though considering that was an official release, if you like his first solo album though this one should impress you even more, if you don't still try it because it is definately better.

Yeah i have a promo copy, i paid a shit load for it too. I just wanted to the cover for the case, i have seen it all over the net but not in cd case size. Damn good album one of my al time favorites. Loaded is awesome too.

i just downloaded Duff solo album Beautiful Disease. I didnt know it was unreleased but apparently, some promo copies were released. this is according to mp3.com. just wanted to know ur opinions if u've hurd it. i thought it wasnt the best album but a pretty good album. Not much like GN'R stuff

I am not sure what happend or if it exists.
Though,  'Live '99' is album that Gilby Clarke recorded.
I am not sure if that is where misunderstanding comes from or if 'Episode 99' really exists.
I know that Duff planed an Live album if 'Beautiful disease' wasn't to be released....

...  I recall it now,  though,  obviously don't know what happend to it.
I do have Gilby's 'Live '99'.

I've heard a couple of songs of beautiful disease and I can say that the sound of VR doesn't change too much of BD  :yes:
