Title: The Strokes (new single) Post by: Ignatius on December 10, 2005, 11:48:24 AM I've used the search function & couldn't find any thread about them, thought I post something about.
Yesterday I downloaded their new single Juice Box off the new album out in January First Impressions of Earth. The single is good, nothing different from the other two albums. Maybe the guitars between the first chorus and second verse sound better, more polished, but definitely not the major change I was expecting. The first two albums were pretty good. Nothing outstanding, but way better than 99% of the others mainstream bands. If they make the right choices, they could be one of the best bands from this decade. Casablancas has a good voice, not brilliant lyrics, but good vocals. But good frontman afterall. Any other fans, haters, bashers, followers out there?
