When I saw this topic, this is the first song I thought of!!  Definitely cheesy!  Someone else mentioned Final Countdown.  How about Sister Christian (don't even remember the band right now).  Anything by Huey Lewis & the News, Twister, the Nelson Twins, Genesis/or the lead singer (what's his name, again?), and this song about "If life is a highway, I want to ride it all night long". 

Pretty much every band that sings about getting laid on the Sunset Strip.

I actually think Cinderella was a pretty good band, better than just being a "guilty pleasure" band. They rocked hard, easily as hard as old-school Aerosmith. IMHO they were like an Aerosmith for the late 80s, a good band.

Yeah they were very blues influenced, cracking band, but the image they projected along with the band name and acts of the time worked against them.  Awesome act though i'm listening to my fave song Nothin' for Nothin' at the mo, they deserve a thread on this board!

Yeah but The Darkness is aware that they're being cheesy. They don't take themselves too seriously. It's all about having fun with them.

I know I like the Darkness too, but you can't say they're not cheesy, their first album anyway

Has anyone heard the cover of this song by Frankie J? I think it's supposed to be a hip-hop version, but to me it sounds pretty much the same as the original.
