Madonna was a FANTASTIC artist in the 80's. She was good in the 90's. She is average/good in the 2000's. The best is behind her.
For the youngest people on this board, you've to know that Madonna changed the face of pop music when she arrived in the 80's. Some of her old songs are absolute classics ( like a prayer...)

Agreed. She had an amazing ride, has reinvented herself a million times and should go out with a little respect.

I've always had a soft spot for Madonna - but its been three terrible albums in a row (terrible for different reasons) now

Having to take samples (and pretty much the lyrics too) from other bands comes in stark contrast to the women who could, and did, bring something new and dynamic to the table with each album.

U can always tell quality when people are listening to it 20 years later - will people be doing that with Britney?

For some reason the walking part in the music video fits perfectly with the music.

Madonna is hot. i adore her. if she asked me to marry her i would say yes. (yes i know shes married right now but a man can dream can't he?)
as for her music. i'm a fan, i love "Like A Prayer", "Get Into The Groove", and "Power of Goodbye".

I still haven't gotten around to seeing her live since its really really expensive but i will try next time she comes around.

Personally, I rather like the song.

For me, it's a nice piece of simple ear candy with a good galloping bass-line and a nice ABBA inspired chorus.

confessions was a great album, hung up was the worst song IMO, get together, sorry are a lot better.. I think Madonna is a lot hotter now than in the 80's.. I don't know, there is something about the hairstyles on the 80's that really annoys me.

Her album 'ray of light' is very good and the song 'frozen' is awesome so is the video.

yep. i'm a big fan of "Justify My Love" as well, also a very very nice video :P
