i think the man was awsome, possibly my favourate singer of all time. he's definately joint top place with jimi hendrex in my list of artists or bands i wish i'd seen. Title: Re: THE JEFF BUCKLEY THREAD. Post by: ClintroN on December 03, 2005, 09:42:53 PM Buckly rocks mate, im a big fan!!

Title: Re: THE JEFF BUCKLEY THREAD. Post by: josh85 on December 06, 2005, 05:43:03 PM i totally agree, grace is awsome, i'd probably put it in my top 3 albums. but the thing which makes him stand out was the intensity of his live shows. obviously i never got to see him live but i've got all of his live cd's and his dvd and they're all awsome and all differant. what will you say on the live a'olympia album is fucking amazing!
Title: Re: THE JEFF BUCKLEY THREAD. Post by: jimmythegent on December 07, 2005, 09:19:56 PM one of my all time favs - grace is a milestone album
I dont use the word loosley or too liberally, but genius is approriate for Buckley I feel. I think he would have continued to make remarkable music and its one of the great tradgedys that he passed so quickly. In fact i can't think of a bigger loss to the music world when considering how little he actually left behind His version of Halleulujah off Grace is perfection, just sublime, as a vocalist he was virtually without peer Title: Re: THE JEFF BUCKLEY THREAD. Post by: Chief on December 08, 2005, 09:21:11 PM one of the best voices ever... what a tragedy!!!!!!!
