I never knew they released a album with mixed tracks from both use your illusions albums onto one CD. Did it sell much? Title: Re: Something i never knew Post by: Evolution on November 30, 2005, 06:44:31 PM http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/releases/use-your-illusion/index.html
no idea about sales im afraid. Title: Re: Something i never knew Post by: Will on November 30, 2005, 07:03:10 PM If I'm not mistaken, this version is sometimes referred to as the "Wal-Mart" version (oops, sorry it's already said in the link above).
Anyway, I got it from Amazon.com a while ago for a few bucks. Nothing particular about it. Title: Re: Something i never knew Post by: WhatIsItMan on November 30, 2005, 08:45:28 PM Okay, I was actually going to start a thread about this disc.? 1st off, this disc features yet the 3rd version of KOHD.? It's shorter, I think a solo is cut out.
I have 2 copies of this disc.? I have the regular version, and then I have some type of "error".? The back has 13 songs listed, with #11 being 'So Fine', even though it's not on the disc! Has this been brought to attention before?? Here is a picture of it: http://s37.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=13GDNPYPCS5YX3N1L1UQ695RV7 Title: Re: Something i never knew Post by: Lord Kayoss on December 01, 2005, 11:29:03 AM I never really understood why this compilation along with "Welome To The Videos" doesn't have "You Could Be Mine" on it. I suppose with the video there could be issues with the T2 scenes in it but not having the track on the UYI rack is silly. People love the song. Alot of people who never even liked GN'R will still jam to YCBM. Between Dead Horse, 14 Years, & You Ain't The First you'd think they could've slipped it in somewhere.
Title: Re: Something i never knew Post by: Izzy on December 01, 2005, 12:14:00 PM Its just the tracks with no swearing from UYI 1 and 2 and an edited KOHD with the telephone bit removed
Not worth the effort Title: Re: Something i never knew Post by: Almost Famous on December 01, 2005, 01:12:29 PM Unless you're a collector... The alternate version of Knockin' On Heaven's Door is a must have. Let's see, GN'R have officially released 6 versions of KOHD... at least thats as many as I can think of. Are there any others out there?
