I always thought that it was a cool original mic stand, but then i saw that Freddie mercury used something similar back in Queen's heyday.

As for Axl's...I remember reading somewhere that he had his mic custom made (if you look at it closely, it's actually just a few peices of pipe welded together as oppossed to a solid structure). I always thought it remeniscent of Mercury when Axl would only use the top half of his stand.

I know axl's was custom made. freddy does have a cool pair ofpants! the red ones! and a buddy of mine has someone in the state made him a mic stand like axl's and send it back to norway! it looks great! kinda surreal holding it though... A copy was leaked, since Axl tried to buy back every single tape cuz, there are damaging things to his reputation about Erin Everly.
