Here Today... Gone To Hell!

The core fans need to set a deadline.. on some kind of announcement. We want a statement from the record comapny, management, or even the man himself. If we dont get this statement.....they can take the album stick it in thier ass.

We need to shut down the websites, close the forums, and quit buying the newly packaged AFD crap. We need to be treated like equal business partners, they deliver ..we consume. Right now, we are being punished for one reason...we are too fucking loyal.
We travel to concerts, buy tickets, hotel rooms, party supplies....he cancels...we lose. Dizzy says, soon. Tommy says soon...Merck says...2005...Goldstien said 2000, 01, 02, 03...then we hear it getting mixed or finishing touches.
Bottom Line---its time to give us a drop dead date. Axl says, live your life....no problem....don't come knocking back to get in our wallets.

So then when the CD doesn't come out by this date, he thinks "Well... I don't have a fan left, there's no point to even think about releasing it now."

If I were him, and I saw this crap, I'd say "Well fuck you guys. You'll never get the CD."

He doesn't have to release it. It's his body of work. If he doesn't feel its ready to be put out, well that's all you can do. Find some new bands, listen to their music until the CD actually comes out.

I've brought this same topic up before, and not many people are willing to do it. I also predict it suffers a similar fate as my identical thread. Pandora or Jarmo will lock this in a new york minute.

I kind of like the idea, but im extremley sceptical that it would make any difference whatsoever thus deeming it an exercise in futility

This constant use of Axl quotes is getting old.

that's not an axl quote. Axl did music in the first place for him, not anyone else. We should be thanksfull he shared what he did with us. When we get  the new album, it's a gift.

I have a better idea to ensure the release of "Chinese Democracy."

-Stop our cars in the middle of traffic; get out, causing countless delays and bringing all productivity to a grinding halt.

- Tie ourselves to government building in the nude.

-Go on a hunger strike.

Now, that... would be dumb. Every now and again people propose something like this, and with every time... I think it's dumber, and dumber and dumber.. Just plain dumb.

Actually it took us about 10 hours, we must be getting slower.
