But how the fuck did Steven Tyler win the 70's over Robert Plant, Ozzy, Paul Stanley, John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, Clapton, Seger, Bon Scott, Alice Cooper, Elton John, Joe Walsh, Don Henley, Lynryd Skynyrd, Steve Miller, Fuck Even David Lee Roth, etc, etc :rant:

I mean for fucks sakes David Gilmour/Roger Waters should've won for their vocals on "Dark Side of the Moon" and "the Wall" alone

Tyler is the greatest frontman probably ever, the only man in the history of music who can drown out Axl Rose, he has the greatest best range and is an amazing songwriter and frontman.

Uhhhh, ok then ROB !!! ::) I have heard every Aerosmith album btw and the best songs from the 70's are the ones I've mentioned. And half of them are ehhh, just like I said. Tylers best stuff came in the 80's.... so :P Don't get me wrong I love Aerosmith and all but they were not the best band in the 70's. :peace:

I think you're the first person I've ever heard say they like Aerosmith's 80's stuff better than their 70's stuff.  To each their own.  I'm just tired of every other person playing this game has to bitch about who won each survivor.  This isn't called, "Everybody vote for Neemo's favorite frontman survivor."

lol, ok chill dude, actually i am not overly fond of any of these pricks, just thought I'd share my opinion. Aerosmith have good tunes from, 70's, 80's and 90's. I grew up in 80's so i guess those tunes remind me of good times? I dunno.

This is a contest taking each frontman as a whole, so Tyler's 70's,80's,90's and todays music all go into the equation.

he has been a great frontman for over 4 decades now and hasnt lost a step and has maybe even a better vocal range now than he did when he started out.

Tell me how rare that is?

I like all the periods of Aerosmith except for the one where Joe Perry and Brad Whitford quit the band, but other than that, they have a very very impressive catalog.

Jon Bon Jovi actually won the 80's survivor but was DQ'ed because the votes of honest posters who happened to register and see the contest voted for Jon to win.

Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell don't even deserve to set up Bruce Dickinson's mic stand.  He performs circles around those boring "frontmen".  And his voice is one of the best in rock/metal.
