She weighed 8 lbs - 6 ounces and is 21 inches tall.. Is a dead ringer for my other daughter as a newborn.. They are actually the exact same weight and a quater inch difference in length,, We decided to name her nothing from any list.. We went with mary.. We both liked the name..

The little bugger may go " over term" when everyone was <worried he'd be a premat... I spent a day there 2 weeks ago for a false alert and it was cool, they wake you up at 9 am with a nice full breakfast, jam, bred, hot choco, it's like the hotel i na way ? ( i like hotels see, nice clean sheets every day..huuummmm..anyways...) How's your other half ? Is she very tired ? And you ? Have you slept ? she's ok, but she had a c section so she is not in a motherly way as in taking care of anyone.. "Is she very tired ?" yes but in pain also... She is in a hospital bed so she is getting rest "And you ? Have you slept ?" yes I have slept, just been watching my oldest.. She is now asleep.. I had spent 12 hours at the hospital day one, day two about 8, and today about 2-3... Tomorrow everyone will be coming home so I will see how my eldest is with the newborn in relation to my sleep "Is she breastfeeding ? if she isn't, how's the maternity nursery ?" she's trying but she is in pain.. Can't wait to see pics! ;) They sure keep you in the hospital a long time for a natural birth in Europe, Jessica. When my 1st son was born, I was home in 24 hrs! I couldn't wait to get out - I was ready in 6. LOL I got a lot more rest at home. I the hospital, they kept waking me up every hour for some reason or other and I wanted out so I could rest! Oh they probably will, especially because i want to breastfeed and i have to learn how to do it ( it's exciting actually !!!! i keep looking at my tits to see about the colostrum and all, i'm so glad) ... I think they keep mums so long so the family or husband or other kids don't bother mums too much so they can get a little rest before heading home and in some cases, make sure they don't have internal bleedings the next day ( i heard it's not uncommon ?)
