It's just an American celebration as far as I know. Some americans believe it's a world-wide celebration, kinda like Christmas or New Years day. I kinda enjoyed this celebration when I used to live in the US. I would do nothing but eat and for 16 hours. The day after tomorrow I'd have to call in sick. I dont really miss it much, but when everyone else is drinking before Thanksgiving dinner it almost makes me want to start again. I stuff myself with turkey, ham, stuffing, potato salad, baked beans, yeast biscuits, pumpkin pie, and pineapple upside-down cake. So there really isnt any room left for alcohol. :hihi: Do any of you guys hate that cranberry shit as much as I do? Happy Thanksgiving everybody! :smoking: : ok: :peace:Title: Re: have a nice holiday everyone at htgth.com Post by: mikegiuliana on November 24, 2005, 05:29:47 PM have a good one.. Sounds interesting. We always have just the average Thanksgiving menu. My grandma cooks it every year. Been that way all my life. She's 71 years old, and still wakes up at the crack of dawn to cook the turkey.
