The Boss and I was in the lift with Axl Rose once and The Boss asked " Are you with Guns & Roses?" to which the spaced out rocker said " I am the original Rose". True story. I would assume this encounter happened in 2002. If not, it's safe to say it happened after the original lineup disbanded. Arrogant statement on the part of Axl, eh? To be honest, Dave, I don't see anything arrogant about it. He is the Rose in Guns N' Roses, he co-founded the band. That has never been in dispute.
