Oki, won't be long for me now.

I was kept in for the night the past week for contractions every 20 mn and let out next day because it had calmed down.

I am 8 months and 3 days pregnant and it's getting worse ( or better).

Won't be long, i think we speak in terms of days at the most and i'd be very surprised if i go over the next 10 days without giving birth.

So Ladies, GOOD LUCK AND LOTS OF LOVE.

I rarely respond to anyone who makes comments like this.  I believe in ignoring attention seekers.  But for one of the first times, I'm truly offended by something someone has said on this board.  I don't know if you are immature or just cruel.  I suspect that Jessica is right and you are american, not that it makes any difference.  But to say something like that to someone who is about to go through childbirth is unacceptable and wrong.  You are not funny, you should be ashamed of yourself.  I hope you are never anyone's mother. 

i am 38 weeks pregnant, almost 39.

When i stayed the night in maternity last week, they told me it would be better to wait another week ( this was a message from the nurse to baby lol )...

From next week, as docs say, the " primipare" isn't dangerous anymore and babies on first pregnancies often come down on 8 months and a week...

And i have met my aenestesist ? Sweetie pie..anyway..and no, i am not that courageous anymore, i am going to have a back injection, he managed to reassure me and i trust him. I'm going for the peridural. I'm into good hands.

I see, when you said 8 months I thought you meant 32 weeks.  You are good to go then!

I had my first child drug free and didn't think it was so bad, so I'm going to have this one drug free too.  But hospitals and doctors scare me, so I want them touching me as little as possible.

I read back through some of her posts and reached a similar conclusion.  Its her use of language, it appears to be American.  As far as what race she is, she definitely wants everyone to believe she's black.  Which more likely makes her an immature white teenager.  But in the end, it doesn't matter where she's from or what color she is, she was wrong for saying that.

As far as #7, I suppose you are going for the sympathy thing in hopes it relieves you of the responsibility of your words.  As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't.  I don't believe you are telling the truth, but if you are, it doesn't excuse you.  Apologizing might help, but saying you were out of line then telling her to fuck off, somehow doesn't come off as being to sincere.

I'm with you, Sterling!  I had my sons drug free too and it wasn't bad at all.  Since you did it once just fine - it gets easier with each one!  : ok:

Jessica - my oldest son was born at 36 weeks and we went home in 24 hrs so no worries. ;)

it seems more and more women are opting for a caesarean rather than natural childbirth...to me thats a bit strange since if i was in the same position (lmao) i would want it to be completely natural...dont you feel like youre missing out on something if you go for a caesarean? just curious

C-Sections are usually a last resort when the mother is unable to give birth naturally. Sometimes the baby's shoulders are too broad  to pass through the birth canal. Or in some cases the baby doesn't drop to the appropriate level.
