Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I know this ent my place to say this at all. But why the fuck are these kind of people aloud to stay on this site so long? Obviously 99% of the people on this site use it chat constructively and have a bit of a laugh about the band we love. But there are just that 1% of little fucks who think its cool to abuse others or just be a complete twat. The majority of these people seem to have been registered for about 5 minutes as well! I have just read a post that I presume has now been deleted cos i couldnt see it on the page when I went back to it, which was being pretty abusive to Pandora written by some fucking twat called deluxe82 or some name like that, it was a pretty nasty post if it was aimed at Pandora. I just read back over some of his previous posts as well, and seriously what the fuck is the point in him even being here if its just to abuse? Like I said earlier I know its not my place to ask this sort of question and I'm sorry, but it just fucking pisses me off to see people on this site spouting shit like that and its a fucking shame that they claim to be guns n roses fans! I don't read all the post over here, but I agree with you Estranged33! I never could understand why people that leave posts like that would even bother to come here. I have been to some sites where this is a lot worse. And that is not fare to the people who want to be there for the band and the owners of the site. Mods seem to get a bad rap sometimes too. They have a hard job and should be given credit for it! Not abused for it!! But there has to be jerks in every crowd. Don't let them get to you!

I'll probably make myself sound totally computer illiterate here (which I am), but when someone is banned, a lot of times that person just re-registers under another name.  So they just come back again.  Banned should be just that - banned.  The person who comes back is most likely posting from the same address/location/icq (? is that right) number.  Isn't there a way that can be blocked so a person can't re-register?  I mean, for the admins here, it wouldn't take much to figure out it's the same person.  So, do you just re-ban them?  Or let them continue under a new name until they make trouble again?  I'm just curious, because I see this happening a lot.

You can do an IP ban, but thats useless if a person accesses via a different computer which holds another IP address, for instance, an Internet Cafe.

I think you can also ban certain usernames for being used as well, but thats useless.

Maybe Jarmo should send out his team of Crack Commando's to eliminate anyone who dares dice with the Law of HTGTH!
