Here Today... Gone To Hell!

What are your people's opinions on whats going on?  With all the rumors flying around right now, do you think this is the closest we have ever been to seeing the albums release, or do you think it is the same old story? 

I honestly believe that something is happening right now, and there are plans to release something (announcement, single,etc..) within the next couple of months.  Now, just because GNR may be planning something doesn't necessarily mean that they will follow through.  Because, I also honeslty believe that Axl has had numerous release dates in the past but has changed his mind for some reason or another.  I think there has been some truth in past rumors about release dates and such.  I don't think Tommy and Dizzy and Richard, etc.. would be making stuff up. 

So I think once again we are close to another rumored release date.  Hopefully Axl won't change his mind.

It's hard to believe because we've heard it all before. ?I believe in October of 2003, a live version of Madagascar was played on the radio and CD was rumored to be released later that month. ?Well obviously nothing happened. ?However, what we do know is there is definetly something going behind the scenes, I do believe that something will be released in the future. ?But lets look at what we've heard so far ... CD and a single are rumored to be released either the end of november or being of december, also rumored is the GH2 will be released in december, but now we're hearing march 2006, also rumored is hearing CD will be released in early 06 with a song on the DaVinci soundtrak. ?So between now and next spring is approximately a span of 6 months. ?So there are alot of possible rumored release dates upcoming. ?Are we close? I really couldn't say because to my knowledge we never had so many rumored dates within such a close time frame.  It has usually been Nov. 2004, Feb. 05, April 05....now we have so many within 6 months.So the one thing I am goign to believe is that within the next 6 months something will be released or something won't but if it doesn't happen within the next 6 months, I think we'll finally have our answer as to when CD will be released. ?and that is NEVER. ?I hope I am wrong because I would love to have CD sometime before next summer.

I believe its the same old story man, on the other hand,its possibly only a marketing strategy to make People give more and more attention to the album, its just my idea, But I dont think these dates are necesarily made or given by common guys, Im not saying its axl either, but certainly there are hands behind these dates.

We've been hearing "very soon" and "finishing touchs" for a long time now.

Who knows.

I think if something is official it will be announced and Jarmo will be informed.

I still stand by what i posted about 2 wks ago...there will be a statement in the next couple of weeks & the new album will be released early 06 cause stone cold says soooooooooo. :rofl:

I would like to see something happen too. If things are going to start, now is a good time for me. Anytime is a good time for me. Even soon is a good time for me. Maybe even very very very soon is a good time for me. I could go on and on, Are we close you ask? I feel like were face to face with a horses ass if something dosen't happen quickly :confused:

It's circumstances that alter cases rather than Axl's mind.

CD, soon... is like saying from the moment you're born, you're dieing. Eventually it will happen. 1 day, 1 month, 60 years. Sooner or later, it WILL happen.

Honestly. I don't think we are any closer now than we were in mid to late 2002. We seem to be on a permanent suspension of activity. :'(

Personally, I will stay negative about this so then I can be pleasantly suprised when and if it happens!

Sorry to be the pessimist but I felt we were close back in 2001/2002 when Axl was out of hiding, doing shows/interviews etc. Now i'm not so sure. To me it looks as though Axl was testing the water with Oh My God, the shows, previewing some new material live and none of it went down as well as he'd hoped so he went back into hiding again. Like the rest of you I want the album badly, I check here daily but let's face it things do not look good right now.

Why dont things look good right now! When Richard Fortus is so positive about this, and a early 06 release, and with all the mystic rumours around! Things really looks good. There is no reason why they shouldent! I know i keep on refering to the quote on Tommys site! But there sure is something the bandmembers been told, that they cant speak about! Im pretty sure the light in the tunnel, is not a train this time! Its the exit from darkness! We cant give up on them!

When the album is out! I will be there suporting the band with al my power!  I really hope the street theams will be back up soon  : ok:

We are not close until Axl says we are.

We have been through this so many times , it really is hard to get any enthusiasm at all. If this so called GH's #2 is actually released that to me will absolutely convince me that we will never get any new material from this band.

Yes, I think we are close. Especially if the GH2 thing.. is just "Guns N' Roses Vol 2.".. the album by another band. (If you don't know what im talking about its discussed in the greatest hits rumor thread)

It'll be out in early '06
