Anyone notice the christian pictures during MTV VMA's Madagascar? No more drugs w/ the band. Maybe Axl is turning back to his roots. With the popularity of christian rock music on the rise.........................you never know. Just a thought -5th Title: Re: Chinese Democracy a Christian Rock Album? This is basically the only thing Axl could do for me to say fuck off to GNR forever...and I mean forever. Title: Re: Chinese Democracy a Christian Rock Album? Post by: misterbrownstone on October 30, 2005, 10:41:07 PM here's some lyrics in chinese democracy:
"have got more masturbation" they're still gonna play WTTJ, out ta get me, etc etc. they are NOT a christian rock band. axl wouldn't swear anymore, either, and i can't see that possible. :hihi: Title: Re: Chinese Democracy a Christian Rock Album? Post by: -Jack- on October 31, 2005, 12:02:31 AM Not a chance in hell. Listen to IRS.. i mean.. its not a vulgar song.. but its far from christain. I personally would be opposed to it too. It just wouldn't be GN'R.
Plus.. we would have heard SOMETHING over the years suggesting this. Maybe an ex-producer.. a current band member... ect. Theres nothing wrong with some "christain" influenced lyrics.. but to label the music as "christain" would be pretty.. not Gn'r Title: Re: Chinese Democracy a Christian Rock Album?
