Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I decided to put together a petition (just for the hell of it) and see how many signatures we can get. I created it twenty minutes ago and already have about 30 signatures and counting. Francis Ford Coppola re-released a new version of The Outsiders after he received a petition with 121 sigs, and The Cure played Brazil when they got 150,000... I just figured there was nothing to lose.

Man, that's pretty unfair, Axl's trying to make the best album he possibly can FOR HIS FANS how do you think it's gonna make him feel to see them do this to him? It will be out when Axl feels that it is up to the standard he has set for himself.

With all due respect, but maybe you should think about the meaning of the term Chinese Democracy. However, I don't think Axl is holding the album back by intention, I think the circumstances (lawsuits etc.) are. As much as I want the album, I won't beg for it. No output, no input - simple as that.

Good idea if it were  anyone but Axl. You forget, however, that  he does not care one fuck about his  fan base. He is too self-centered to notice that  his actions (or inaction in his case), affect others.

Hes right, so what if its a stupid idea.  People will see this shit.  I mean whats the big fuking deal if you sign it.  It sure the hell isnt gonna hurt you or anybody else.

This isn't so much a petition to have the CD released "now"; rather it is a petition showing support for GN'R, Axl, and demanding that we be treated with respect by Geffen, Sanctuary, etc. and they stop treating us like shit by continually lying or not giving us any information. If you read the petition statement, its real meaning is clearer. It's not a naive "give us CD now!"

Chinese will be released when Axl wants it released.. Go on live your life and one day Chinese Democracy may come out.

But until then feel free to sign the petition and show Uncle Axl some love ;D

I don't see a problem with someone wanting to start/sign a petition? Nothing else has worked in the past (including petitions), but I am going to sign for the hell of it.

Yeah this should be interesting, now that a whole gang load of people will be able to see this petition.  Will it take off, or just fizzle away.  Maybe we should call radio stations and tell them its in the top 10 for now and see if that helps out more.

there are now 556  signatures.  At that pace, we'll have 1,000,000 signatures 15 years from now.  Or 150, 000 in another two years.  I'll be pushing 50 by the time that petion gets to 1,000,000, if ever it does. 

This one's already working. Actually, its working too well. Axl has been :phone: his attorneys, and they have demanded an immediate end to this petition, and have threatened a never ending lawsuit to every person who signed it. Thank God I didn't sign it! :hihi:

 The whole problem is that it is worded wrong and retarded.  The main title should have the name Guns n Roses in it so it grabs the eye. Not the words We want a chinese democracy.  Anyways the letter sucks all together and would get more votes if it was done correctly, which i just might do after this one fizzles into the gutter.
