Title: Question about Australian shot bootlegs
Post by: Megaguns on October 19, 2005, 05:24:13 AM
I was at a mate of a mates house the other night and they were watching a video of skid row, i asked him where it was from and he said eastern creek raceway, anyhow.... after the skid row bit finished there was some footage of guns n roses performing. I do know that years ago this guy worked backstage security at some of the bigger concerts held at eastern creek raceway like pearl jam etc.... I have looked up the concert and im pretty sure its from january 92. Plus i know its from aus because he is on the tape also. Can anyone shed some light on this for me as i cant find a bootleg of that concert.

According to gnrontour.com, it's from 1993-01-30, and there's no video bootleg of that show.

Does it look like a professional or audience recording?

Well, if you get that bootleg, rest assured you'll have a whole new collection of GNR bootlegs in one month...  ;)

From what i saw it only went for a short while and the recording was pretty crappy. I was kinda hoping that somebody could shed some light on its availability as a complete concert bootleg. Now i  guess ill try to see the guy directly.
