haha yeah I think this is a mistake.  Any person who likes emo fag bands like Thursday and From Autumn to Ashes would not be able to point out Axl Rose (sorry, I just hate emo musicians too much).  I bet her boyfriend saw Slash from GNR and she had no idea who it was and she just assumes it was Axl Rose. 

I was thinking perhaps she saw the guys from GNR and assumed Scott was Axl by association.

Its a fine line between bravery and stupidity.  I'm a big fan of Axl, but I don't believe that incident was one of his finer moments.

Here in Modesto, CA Axl was spotted at a Mcdonald's Drive Thru(with police escort), and ordered a Big Mac, 2 large fries, an apple pie, and a Diet Coke. When asked when CD would come out, he said he would release it if Mcdonalds would bring back the McDLT. :hihi:

 A McDLT is a hamburger they used to have. It came in a styrofoam carton. On one side of the carton was half the bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. On the other side was the other half of the bun with the meat. It was to keep the veggies cold and the meat hot up until the moment you ate it. It was actually a damn good burger. It was bigger than a Big Mac. Unfortunately, McDonalds stopped making this burger in the late 80's.  But since they bring back the McRib every now and then, there's always a chance for the resurection of the McDLT!

Everyone listed in that blog is on this page minus Axl Rose. She was confusing Axl and Scott, I suppose I could see how a very casual fan could.... If you never saw "braids and baggy jersey" Axl and the last time you saw him was the 90's..... Scott isn't too far off from what an aged Axl would look like.

My post was not only a reaction to this thread, but to all the threads you participate in. i'd like to think that at some point in the future, axl and the other original gn'r members could meet up without a problem - but that is up to them, i guess.  i dont think its fair to criticise VR though - they are a great band and only doing what they love

sounds unlikely that axl would go to such a public opening - but hey - I would love to be surprised!

And - sadly I think some people would mistake axl these days - given that he has hardly been out and about lots publicly apart from gigs - someone asked me yesterday if slash was in bon jovi or gn'r........  there are people out there who just don't know the guys like we do!!!
