Here Today... Gone To Hell!

For me, Skrewdriver is one of those bands. I have very little tolerance for bad punk because I'm a metalhead and most punk annoys me. However, Skrewdriver is just one of those punk bands, like the Exploited and DRI, that I see something special in. For most people, however, they're just a bunch of Nazis. They don't even realize that they weren't Nazis in their excellent first album, but the crowd turned against them when they took an unpopular stance.

Some people value ideology more than music...

Oingo Boingo because I just don't get all the Oingo Boingo hate and Danny Elfman is a genius


Bad Brains because it's a shame that they can't any respect by punks because they are black and because they produce good reggaeish punk.

Helloween, I like this band so much that is also a fave one, a lot of people think this band is crap cause they have inspire bands to make "hollywood metal" if that means something. Helloween is a versatile band with a lot of preogressive songs and as Michael Kiske would say they have, fast song, slow songs, midtempo song, interesting songs, boring songs and should be right for you, ok?  : ok:

Snakepit, 2nd version.  I love them, but I hear a lot of criticism about them. 

Bon Jovi.  It's not like they are one of my favorite bands in the whole world, but I do like their music.  It always makes me feel good when I hear their songs.  I've had people laugh at  me when I say I like Bon Jovi.  But hey, they're still around & doing well (very well) in terms of album sales & shows, so, somebody out there besides me must like them.   

Oddly enough, Guns N' Roses! Not too many people in my real life circles see their merits.

But anyway more along the lines of where this thread is I'd have to say The Tea Party.

Both Snakepit incarnations. It's strange that only a few like the band on GN'R Internet fan sites, although some friends of mine (who aren't GN'R fans) think it's a great record. I think both are A+.

What? They gets tons of respect. And most punks love raggae. The only thing that fucked them was their own relgious views. Excellent hardcore though. Go buy the book American Hardcore - A Tribal History. Fucking awesome book that covers so much of the scene.

Charles Bronson - The extreme of extreme hardcore.No-one else gets them. I love them.

I love Helloween, Snakepit V2.0 and i like Bon Jovi  :D

I'm a big hair metal fan.  I dig Trixter, Danger Danger, Poison...those bands always get lots of shit on this board.

I like Limp Bizkit. Liked their first two albums and "The Unquestionable Truth." Rest was pretty bad. But still, I like the band.
