Title: The 40-Year-Old Virgin Post by: Mattman on October 06, 2005, 01:54:32 PM I just watched this movie a few weeks ago, and it was funny and entertaining, but one thing started to bug me afterwards. Did anybody else think that it was WAY too easy for the main character to get laid in this movie if he really wanted to? I mean, once his friends decide to help get him laid, opportunities immediately begin popping up all over the place where attractive women suddenly want to have sex with a guy who is basically a complete nerd. It seems to me that in the movie, the issue of getting laid or not comes down only to a choice on the part of the guy to have sex - something which is pretty unrealistic, IMO.

Plus he played it right, the hottest girl he snagged in the movie was also the drunkest girl in the bar..... he used his better looking friends to get into that group of girls then picked the weakest (drunkest) of the bunch....... It's like a lion hunt..... If there is a half crippled gazzell why chase the fast ones.........
