Title: CD release Post by: Mr. Dick Purple on October 06, 2005, 01:18:13 PM I don't know where to post this, either is Bad obssesion or is GNR section, the thing is when a album goes out, the band had to do publicity or the band just release it?.
The question is cause I was thinking what if Axl release CD without telling anyone lets say next monday, and I think this album doesn't need any advertisement right?, but does the CD needs permission from the record company to make a release and advertasiment? ??? It's because they're Limp Bizkit.? ;) I think they could have sold more with adaquate promotion. Sure, they suck but they could have hyped it as "the album with the return of Wes Boreland." But of course Durst wanted this "underground credit". |
