I was just curious if this was tru, i doubt it but, just wondering. thanks peace

Axl says something along the lines of "if you think those tracks are live recordings your stupid, they were added in", he says it in some interview in the late 80s, you can probably find it in the interviews section of this site!

They didn't want a poorly recorded real live preformance (because.. it would have poor quality..) .. but they wanted to capture their attitude at the same time. So they faked it...

It was just "live" with no audience. :hihi: In addition, I'm sure they could do multiple "takes"...but I don't think they did any "click ins". Sometimes keeping the audience chatter interferes with the band's sound. :peace:
