I was visiting my cousin and her two kids in New York city, when I first walked off the bus I heard the WTTJ intro in my head as I was looking around at the city and it's buildings ,next was a drug-dealer  offering to sell me mushrooms , I refused to buy. Then I walked past this pretty girl. My 1st minute off the bus was exactly like the beginning of the video, it was so funny I'll never forget it.

During an argument/conflict with my significant other, I came to this realization that I was? living the lyrics to "You Could Be Mine".? We had had an altercation, I was upset, walked out, and came back late and ....

"When I come home, late at night, don't ask me where I been.? Just count your stars I'm home again."? ran through my head.

Then I actually 'bust out' with:? "Whyyyyyyyyy must you fiiiiiiind another reason to cry?!" :hihi:? Less the melody of course.? :P

I could have voiced much of the last 'rant' in YCBM and he would've have been any the wiser, cuz it was like stuff I'd find myself saying anyway!

I don't think it's a stupid thread at all.  It's kind of a fun one.  We need fun ones here, too!!

I work as a nurse in a very busy long-term care facility, where most of the patients have dementia (and some are just nuts).  So every day is a  new challenge (but I love it!).  Many days, when I pull into the parking lot, I find myself singing or even saying the words to "Welcome to the Jungle", because that's what it feels like some days!!   

I cant belive no-one has said when theyre getting drunk, they think of Nightrain... I dont, but this thread made me realise... maybe I will from now on.

And when used to think of my ex girlfriend, I used to think Sweet Child... now that we're broken up I Think of November Rain, cos i still love her...

oh.... how sad...really.  I'm sorry. 

As far as Nightrain, never tried it.  Never even seen it.  My high school experience was Boonesfarm or Mad Dog 20/20.  I could puke when I think of it. 

Sometimes when I'm very drunk and high, Nightrain starts to play in my head, sometimes when I'm very high or something else Coma might start playing in my head.

In my life there's dozens of emotional periods that set off a guns song playing in my head, Estranged is a song that plays most often

You poke fun at us?  You're the one who seemingly signed up here just to rip on people.  Go get a job or something.  Anyway...on topic...I always have Nightrain in my head when I'm getting drunk.  Once at a friend's party me and a bunch of my friends who are all into GN'R were real fucked up and we put on Nightrain loud as all hell and just started screaming the words to it.  I'm still surprised nobody called the cops on us.

Not because the song applies to the situation, but just because my kids crack up when I go into an Axl impersonation with little or no justification  :hihi:

I remember when I didn't know english and I used to hear double talking jive, for reason I felt pissed and everytime I got pissed I closed inside my room and listening to it over and over again, with the years I understood the song and it was kinda weird.  :peace:

The amount of times I've been having sex with different girls with AFD on loud in the background...lol...sometimes when I am there going at it and getting bored and just listening to the guitar and lyrics and thinking hmm maybe I should be with someone else....
